Riverfly monitoring

Why we monitor Riverflies

We monitor Riverflies to see how healthy the river is, and if necessary use our data as proof that action needs to be taken to improve water quality.

Where we monitor Riverflies

We monitor Riverflies across Monk's Brook, specifically in the south half of Monk's Brook, near where it joins the river Itchen.
